• Scissors — Circle cutter (optional)
• Tape
• Stapler
• Crayons
• Pencil
• 2-8in. paper plates
• Saran Wrap (optional)

Lyrics to “Make A Splash” by Billy Gorilly  (album-version)

Splish, Splash, we’re havin’ a Bash
Shout it out to everyone you know
Come on we’re singin’
Bing, Bang, Ring-a-Ding Dang
Time to Make a Splash, here we go

Make a Splash at your library
Dive into all the fun
There is so much to do at your library
Just ask your friendly, kind librarian

Make a Splash
The fun can start as soon as you walk in
Make a Splash
Just visit us and we’ll help you begin
Come on Make a Splash
You’ll love the way you’re welcomed from the very start
Make one great big cannonball splash
You’ll be glad that you decided to take part

Make a dash to your library
Hurry now, so you don’t miss out
Slip and slide right in I know that you will be
Having so much fun you’ll wanna jump and shout

Make a Splash
The fun can start as soon as you walk in
Make a Splash
Just visit us and we’ll help you begin
Come on Make a Splash
You’ll love the way you’re welcomed from the very start
Make one great big cannonball splash
You’ll be glad that you decided to take part

Rah, Rah, Sis Boom Bah
Reading books will take you far
Let’s all have some fun
Let me show you how it’s done

1, 2, 3, 4 walk on through the library door
5, 6, 7, 8 a million books that educate
9, 10, 11, 12 grab your favorites off the shelf
13, 14, 15, 16 everybody sing it with me

Make a Splash
The fun can start as soon as you walk in
Make a Splash
Just visit us and we’ll help you begin
Come on Make a Splash
You’ll love the way you’re welcomed from the very start
Make one great big cannonball splash
You’ll be glad that you decided to take part
There’s a pool of fun and knowledge waiting there for you
You’ll be thrilled at all the fun things you can do

With a seemingly endless number of details to get together and such a short time left, it’s good to know Billy Gorilly is ready to help.

His brand new CD “Rockin’ the SchoolHouse vol.2” not only has a “Make A Splash” theme song, but it also offers up 19 other songs and audio stories done as only Billy and his pals can do. Kids will have a ball singing along to learn the Days of the Week, Letter sounds, Counting Backwards, and the Colors of the Rainbow. They’ll learn the meaning of true friendship and the value of cooperation as they listen to Billy’s version of some classic Aesop fables, and when it’s time to pick up and put things away there’s even a “Clean-Up” song to wrap it all up. Early learners will be Energized, Geniusized, and Socialized with this multiple subject CD as they learn everything they need to know in a way they’ll never forget.

Music Can Change Lives – Watch These Kids Sing

2009 August 29
by Billy Gorilly

When I saw this video I was not only touched by the sound of the voices, I was touched also by the expressions on the faces. I wish there was more music in schools. The kids are very lucky to have a teacher like this.

I believe the instructor is Gregg Breinberg.
PS22 chorus, an incredible bunch of NYC public school 5th graders!
